Account Management Staff:
Carl J Utz serves as an Account Manager and is in charge of finding and developing new business clients for the company. He graduated with a B.S. degree from Illinois State University in Science and Technology/Industrial Computer Systems. Mr. Utz started with Andromeda as a college intern, then became a full time Lan Technician after graduation. Before his promotion, Mr. Utz spent several years doing technical work for our clients out in the field.
Jeffery B. Grazer serves as our Telecom Operations Manager. He is responsible for the design and implementation of the technical aspects in our telecom department. With over twenty-five years of experience in the telecom industry, certifications in all major manufacturers of telecom equipment, including Panasonic, Samsung, Toshiba, Comdial, Nortel, Vonexus EIC, and others. Jeff has the depth of knowledge essential in producing results that improve our customers telecommunications needs. Prior to joining Andromeda, Mr. Grazer has worked for several telecom companies and ran his own telecom service company for several years.
Anthony M. Zaragoza serves as an Account Manager responsible for supporting and assisting the management team in various tasks and projects. He also performs account management for various clients. Mr. Zaragoza started with Andromeda in 2004 and has served in various technical roles. Before joining the Andromeda team, he was a consultant performing IT work for a manufacturing company in Montgomery, IL. Prior to that he owned and operated a family business. Mr. Zaragoza has undergone extensive training at New Horizons Computer Learning Center and is certified as a COMP/TIA A+ Technician, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) NT 4.0, and Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) Windows 2000.
James R Pitcher serves as a Sales Representative. He specializes in voice products and services including both digital and converged (VoIP) telephone systems. Mr. Pitcher is also very well versed in the full product line of AT&T network products, such as POTS and Centrex lines, PRI and T1 circuits, MPLS circuits, Managed Internet Service, DSL Services, and also both local and long distance calling plans. He is the founder of Tri-Com Incorporated, a 40-year old telecom company that was acquired by Andromeda in January of 2009. Mr. Pitcher holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration from The University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, IL
Annette Pitcher serves as a Sales Representative. She focuses her sales efforts on voice products and AT&T services. Over the years she has sold voice products ranging from 1A2 electro-mechanical to today’s fully converged VoIP systems. She is well versed in many kinds of peripheral systems and software, such as call centers and call accounting systems. She has also sold telecom network services for 21 years, under the various Bell entities, including Illinois Bell, Ameritech, SBC and
now AT&T. Ms. Pitcher holds a B.A. from the University of Illinois-Champaign with a degree in
the teaching of Secondary English. She taught high school English for many years. She joined Andromeda as part of the Tri-Com, Inc. acquisition.
Martha Baloun serves as a Customer Service Rep in our telecom department. She performs a wide array of duties, most of which are focused on keeping our customers happy and our staff organized. She joined Andromeda as part of the Tri-Com acquisition, after spending 19 years with Tri-com. Prior to joining Tri-Com, Ms. Baloun spent 10 years in the mortgage and banking industry, getting her first job by interviewing on the morning of her high school graduation
IT Technical Staff:
Joshua J. Lawrence serves as a LAN Technician II. His primary focus is on multi-site routing and complex firewall issues. Prior to joining Andromeda, Mr. Lawrence served as a Blackberry Enterprise Administrator and Tier 2 support rep for an international organization and was also a help desk analyst for a law firm in Washington, D.C. He holds the following certifications: Comp TIA Network +, Cisco BSCI, and Cisco CCNA
William E. Toms serves as a LAN Technician II. He is responsible for both on-site and offsite troubleshooting and maintenance. Mr. Toms specializes in Windows Servers and scripting, and has a particular knack for removing nasty malware from infected PCs. Before joining the Andromeda team, Mr. Toms worked as a technician in a PC repair shop. He has taken many technical training classes at Moraine Valley Community College and is currently CompTIA Network+ certified.
Kevin R. McDonald After several very successful years as one of Andromeda's primary Help Desk technicians, Kevin now serves as an on-site IT technician addressing a large variety of issues at all complexity levels. He holds a degree from DeVry University and is a Certified Network Systems Administrator. Mr. McDonald is currently pursuing his MicroSoft MSDST certification and looks forward to extending both his educational training and practical experience in the field.
Gannon Novak serves as a Help Desk Technician. He is responsible for providing remote support for customers that call us regarding various technical issues. Gannon started with Andromeda after completing a two year internship with U. S. Steel and graduating from the University of St. Francis where he earned a degree in Information Technology. Mr. Novak looks forward to further broadening his knowledge in the field and also pursuing Microsoft certifications.
Telcom Technical Staff:
Ray Wilbert serves as a Senior Telecom Technician. Mr. Wilbert has been in the telephony industry for 15 years servicing the entire Nortel product line. He joined Andromeda as part of the Tri-Com acquisition and is currently doing much of our Nortel field service work. Prior to joining Tri-Com, he learned the telephony business while employed at a startup telephone company in Chicago, IL. After finishing junior college, Mr. Wilbert played semi-pro baseball for several years.
Lee Olsen serves as a Telecom Technician. Mr. Olsen is an Army Veteran, who served in the Gulf War. Upon his return to civilian life, he began his career in telecommunications. For the last 15 years he has worked with numerous phone systems including Toshiba, Panasonic and Avaya and has done extensive work with voice and data wiring. Lee is also certified on the ESI line of telecommunication products.
